Outside Plant Engineering
Engineering Associates can make a detailed analysis of your existing network and create a cost effective design based on client’s requirements and future needs with consideration for all network components, including Outside Plant, Switch and Transmission parameters. Alternate plans will also be studied and cost analysis performed to determine the most prudent course of action.
Engineering Associates offers Field Engineers capable of producing Construction Drawings for Aerial, Buried and Underground facilities, compliant with NESC requirements. Also, any permitting for state, local and federal authorities can be performed.
Engineering Associates can provide Resident Engineers for construction coordination, planning and monitoring of progress. Construction Monitors can be provided for assurance of construction quality. Post Construction services include Acceptance testing of all types of cables and inventory of facilities placed to verify contractor billing and assure accurate property records.
Engineering Associates can conduct an Area Coverage Survey to locate existing establishments and potential growth areas on existing and new Map/Landbase systems. Field Verifications of existing plant and subscribers for new landbase systems can also be performed.
Engineering Associates has personnel with over twenty years of experience in the preparing, processing, and closing of RUS Outside Plant Contracts. This includes the preparation of all Plans and Specification Documents, conducting Pre-Bid Conferences, attending and opening of bids, and preparation of all documents required for closing out the contract. We can also help in the creation or maintenance of Outside Plant Continuing Property Records.
