Michael McGannon

Michael McGannon

Mr. McGannon has over twenty years of experience in wireless systems design, project management and telecommunications consulting. He is responsible for all aspects of the wireless business at Engineering Associates, Inc. He has worked on many different wireless platforms including two-way radio, cellular, PCS, LMDS, MMDS, Wi-Fi/WiMAX and other wireless systems, both domestically and internationally. He is the co-author of putting mobile technology to work, copyright ©2009 and author of a guidebook to mobile land radio, copyright ©2000, by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA).

Prior to joining Engineering Associates, Inc., Mike was the Senior Manager for Wireless Services at the Atlanta Olympic Games. As the senior Motorola manager on loan to the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games (ACOG), Mike was responsible for designing, implementing and operating the entire portfolio of Motorola products in their Centennial Games Partnership, which was valued in excess of $40 million.

Mr. McGannon holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and MBA degree from Georgia State University, and is a Registered Engineer In Training in the state of Georgia.
